EVOQUE – Designed to Move With the Waves

There’s a kind of elegance that doesn’t shout. It moves like a tide—calm, rhythmic, and quietly powerful. That’s the energy EVOQUE brings.


The Brand

EVOQUE is a global talent agency representing world-class performers, musicians, and entertainment professionals across cruise lines, resorts, and live venues. With roots in New Zealand and a deep connection to the creative industries of Australia and the UK, the brand is built on trust, care, and a commitment to connecting extraordinary talent with extraordinary opportunities.

Founded by Darren and Mylinda, a husband-and-wife duo with 30+ years of entertainment and cruise experience, EVOQUE was born to support talent with more than bookings—it was about building a full entertainment ecosystem that educates, uplifts, and sustains.


The Brief

From naming to narrative, we were tasked with building EVOQUE from the ground up. The brand needed to feel sleek, international, and professional, yet carry the personal, human touch that Darren and Mylinda bring to every conversation. The look and feel needed to speak across audiences—from cruise line execs to young performers preparing for their first job at sea.

This would be more than a brand. It would be a living, breathing entertainment hub, connecting talent to opportunity, and backing that with a strong, supportive resource centre.


What We Did

We began with collaborative strategy sessions to define the core purpose, audience needs, and long-term goals. The name EVOQUE emerged from these sessions—derived from “evoke,” it speaks to the inspiration, transformation, and elegance at the heart of everything the agency does.

Then, we moved into concept development—exploring visual directions that would honour the movement of water, the energy of live performance, and the soft professionalism that defines the EVOQUE approach.


Brand Concept Development

We explored six visual concepts, each rooted in a different expression of EVOQUE’s identity—from bold and modern to elegant and fluid. Each concept explored typography, colour palettes, visual motifs, and personality-driven elements to bring different facets of the brand to life.


Concept One – Bold & Modern

Inspired by the fluidity of waves and audio rhythms. The logo’s soft curves and varied line heights reflect both the movement of the sea and the pulse of performance, creating a calm but dynamic rhythm.

The wave motif is subtly integrated into the logo, bringing a sense of continuity and grace, while the colour palette of rich blues and turquoise connects directly to the brand’s maritime foundations.

Each sub-brand (Pulse, Echo, Fuse, Sway) is assigned its own colour, offering distinction while maintaining harmony under the EVOQUE umbrella.






Concept Two – Edgy & Distinctive

A modern take on the entertainment industry’s high energy, with a bold typeface and neon-infused palette. This direction leaned into nightlife, vibrancy, and fearless creativity—perfect for a brand wanting to turn heads.




Concept Three – Gradient & Versatile

This design introduced a standalone “E” mark, giving the brand a flexible identifier. With gradients inspired by stage lighting, the look was dramatic and rich, easily adaptable across both light and dark contexts.





Concept Four – Minimal & Professional

Balancing the deep blue of the ocean with the crisp clarity of a corporate feel, this look was stripped back, modern, and clean. It felt quietly powerful, designed to give EVOQUE gravitas in more traditional business spaces.




Concept Five – Elegant & Trustworthy

A blend of classic serif fonts with a handwritten signature style, this direction added personality and intimacy. The palette leaned into earthy neutrals and deep blues, grounding the brand with timeless charm.





Concept Six – Fresh & Flowing

A playful, collage-like aesthetic with wave overlays and a vibrant sea-inspired palette. This concept balanced energy and elegance, delivering something fresh, modern, and alive with movement.



The Website & Entertainment Hub

Built for longevity and scale, the EVOQUE website is more than a showcase—it’s a destination. Designed to be sleek and mobile-responsive, the site highlights talent and services while offering user-friendly navigation for submissions, bookings, and applications.


We’re currently developing EVOQUE’s bespoke members-only entertainment hub, which will act as a digital home for the performers they represent. The hub includes:

  • Performer resources (tax guides, invoice templates, prep checklists)

  • Casting call notices

  • Partner login areas

  • Industry insights and professional development


Each element is being crafted to support performers beyond the stage, giving them tools, advice, and access to thrive.


EVOQUE is now a brand with movement, depth, and confidence. It connects sea to stage, talent to opportunity, and beauty to function. As the entertainment hub grows, so too will its ability to support and elevate the global talent community it was built for.
